Comprehensive Addiction Programs, Inc. Sale

On February 21, 2003, Healthcare Transactions Group closed the sale of Comprehensive Addiction Programs, Inc. (CAPS) to CRC Health Corporation (CRC) for $37.5 million.  Healthcare Transactions Group initiated the transaction and provided financial and divestiture advisory services to CAPS.  CAPS owns and operates sixteen residential and outpatient addiction treatment facilities that are now part of CRC, making the Company the nation’s largest network of privately held addiction and recovery facilities.  This may be the largest single M & A transaction in the behavioral healthcare services sector this year.  For press release of transaction click Press Release.
